Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join the platform as Capital Markets Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Capital Markets Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification, verification, and approval process.
Once approved, Capital Markets Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform and investor network
Gain access to live private capital transactions and paid analytical engagements
Support capital raising, transaction execution, and investor-facing initiatives
Build a verified deal history and proprietary Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers include:
Analyst / Associate Analyst · Lead Analyst · Senior Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–$200/hour
Typical Background: Former investment banking, capital markets, private equity, venture capital, real estate finance, or senior advisory professionals with 5+ years of transaction or capital markets experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–$150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of capital markets, deal execution, or advanced financial modeling experience
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–$100/hour
Typical Background: Entry- to mid-level analysts with strong technical, analytical, and market-facing capabilities
Capital Markets Analysts are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and demonstrated performance. Approved responsibilities may include:
Capital raise analysis and structuring support
Investor materials support (teasers, pitch decks, CIMs, data room content)
Market positioning and transaction strategy analysis
Investor targeting and capital stack analysis
Three-statement financial modeling
Transaction and capital structure modeling
Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and LBO analysis
Sensitivity, scenario, and downside case analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football-field valuation summaries
Financial and commercial diligence support
Quality of Earnings (QoE) review assistance
Market, sector, and investor landscape analysis
Risk identification and capital markets impact assessment
Investment memo and committee materials support
Analysts may only perform work within categories they are formally approved for. Approvals are performance-based, not tenure-based.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training
Receive category-specific approvals (Capital Markets, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
Complete verification and onboarding
Begin earning immediately through hourly engagements and live capital markets transactions
No cold outreach. No unpaid trial work.
Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors, fund managers, and deal sponsors.
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training
Active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Capital Markets Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility and promotion priority
Approved analytical and capital markets work categories
Recommended hourly compensation range
Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval tier
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments are issued only after successful transaction completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues
Capital Markets Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
All work is strictly limited to analytical, diligence, capital markets support, and transaction preparation functions and must comply with applicable securities laws and regulations.
