Capital Operations Associates support investment teams, fund managers, and investor relations by managing capital flows, investment operations, and reporting processes. The role combines fund administration, operational oversight, and investor communications in a fast-paced private capital environment.
This position works closely with portfolio managers, operations teams, and fund accountants to ensure accurate processing of investments, smooth fund operations, and timely reporting to investors.
Process and reconcile capital calls, distributions, and subscriptions for limited partners
Maintain accurate records of investor commitments, allocations, and fund transactions
Assist with fund accounting, NAV calculations, and performance reporting
Prepare investor statements, quarterly reports, and other communications to stakeholders
Support portfolio monitoring, P&L tracking, and operational risk reporting
Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and process documentation for capital management
Identify and resolve operational discrepancies, inefficiencies, or data inconsistencies
Collaborate with auditors, compliance teams, and fund administrators as required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Familiarity with private fund operations, capital management, or fund administration
Experience with fund accounting, investment operations, or capital reporting is preferred
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or fund administration platforms is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Interest in private capital, fund operations, and investor support
