Job Summary:
Seeking a Capital Projects Scheduler to support large-scale capital engineering and construction initiatives at our client’s pharmaceutical manufacturing headquarters. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules for high-value capital projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting complex capital projects exceeding $100M in value and will be comfortable managing aggressive project timelines while collaborating with engineering, construction, and project management teams.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for large-scale capital projects
- Track project milestones, critical paths, and schedule dependencies
- Monitor schedule performance and identify risks or delays proactively
- Support project teams with schedule updates, forecasting, and reporting
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Assist with schedule recovery planning for compressed or accelerated timelines
- Generate schedule reports and present project status updates to leadership as needed
- Ensure scheduling best practices and project controls processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in capital project scheduling or project controls
- Experience supporting capital projects valued at $100M or greater required
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project (MS Project) required
- Experience working within highly regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial environments preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
