About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We serve fund managers, investors, operators, and finance professionals across private markets—combining deal flow, analytical talent, investor relations, networking, training, and job placement into a single platform.

Our mission is to promote opportunity, credibility, and real earning potential for serious private capital professionals. Once verified, specialists gain immediate access to live capital transactions and paid analytical work across our network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Capital Risk Review Specialists.

This is not a traditional employment role. Capital Risk Review Specialists operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, specialists:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to real, paid capital risk review assignments

  • Support investors, fund managers, and operators by evaluating risk to invested and committed capital

  • Build a verified transaction review track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Capital Risk Review Specialist · Lead Capital Risk Review Specialist · Capital Risk Review Specialist / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges

Senior Capital Risk Review Specialist

  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–200/hour

  • Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, or transaction advisory professionals with 5+ years of capital risk or underwriting experience

Lead Capital Risk Review Specialist

  • Rating Score: 80–89

  • Pay: $100–150/hour

  • Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in deal analysis, capital structuring, underwriting, or risk assessment

Capital Risk Review Specialist / Associate

  • Rating Score: 60–79

  • Pay: $50–100/hour

  • Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical skills and exposure to transaction analysis or risk-focused work

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Capital Risk Review Specialists may be engaged to:

Capital Structure & Downside Risk Review

  • Review capital structures for leverage, subordination, and loss-absorption risk

  • Assess equity, preferred equity, mezzanine, and debt exposure

  • Examine sources and uses of capital for structural weaknesses

  • Evaluate refinancing, liquidity, and exit risk

Financial & Scenario Risk Analysis

  • Review financial models with a capital preservation focus

  • Perform downside, break-even, and stress-test analyses

  • Assess sensitivity to macro, rate, pricing, and operating assumptions

  • Identify capital impairment and dilution risk

Diligence & Risk Reporting

  • Review Quality of Earnings (QoE) and diligence findings for capital risk implications

  • Evaluate commercial and operational diligence through a capital protection lens

  • Support investment committee materials with risk-focused commentary

  • Produce concise capital risk summaries and red-flag assessments

Note: Specialists may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated performance—not tenure.

How Specialists Start Earning

  1. Complete the Capital Risk Review Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (Capital Risk, Model Review, Diligence Risk, Scenario Analysis)

  3. Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly capital risk review assignments and live deal work

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified specialists are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

  • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Capital Risk Review Specialist receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Visibility across the Initio Sphere platform

  • Approved review categories

  • Recommended hourly rates

Scores reflect analytical rigor, risk judgment quality, clarity of communication, and compliance adherence.

Compensation & Deal Terms

  • Specialists are independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

  • Specialists may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, compliance, or performance issues

Compliance Notice

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit or sell securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or fiduciary capacity

All work is strictly limited to capital risk review, analytical evaluation, diligence support, and financial analysis and must comply with applicable securities laws.
