Job Overview Komatsu is currently looking for a motivated and skilled individual with carpentry and warehouseshipping experience to join our Capital Shipping team. Komatsu offers excellent benefits, competitive pay, annual bonus potential, and annual merit reviews.

Key Job Responsibilities WORK SAFE AND BE AN ADVOCATE FOR SAFETY

• Operate 22,000-36,000lb fork lift
• Ability to secure part and pullback buggy
• Know how to build wooden skids
• How to operate overhead crane
• Know proper lifting devices and rigging procedures to load a machine.
• How to set a loader on trailer safely
• How to prepare/pack a loader for domestic/international shipment
• Be familiar with how trailers are put together
• Know basic DOT rules for loading 18 wheelers permit loads

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Education or GED
• Entry-level carpentry experience
• Ability to use construction tools including saws, drills, etc.
• Math skills including ability to read tape measure, add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Computer Skills a must
• Handheld Scan Guns
• SAP Experience is a Plus
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task effectively, and meet deadlines
• Must be a fast learner, driven, and self-motivated, strive towards continuous improvement
• Must complete physical drug screen including hair follicle and background investigation
• Must be available to work 1st shift, overtime, and weekends as required
