Capital Strategy Mentors represent a senior advisory tier within the ecosystem—focused specifically on capital planning, fundraising strategy, and investor positioning while benefiting from meaningful earning opportunities and elevated credibility across the network.
Initio Sphere is onboarding Capital Strategy Mentors to provide high-level guidance on capital formation, fundraising strategy, and investor engagement to fund managers, sponsors, and operators across the private markets.
This is not a traditional employment role. Capital Strategy Mentors operate as independent contractors, activated through a selective verification and approval process.
Once approved, Capital Strategy Mentors:
Advise on fund formation, capital structuring, and fundraising strategy
Coach sponsors and fund managers on LP positioning and capital narratives
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on capital-markets thinking and investor readiness
Access curated deal exposure, advisory engagements, and transaction-linked earning opportunities
Build a verified Capital Strategy Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem
This role is designed for professionals with deep experience raising capital, structuring funds, or advising LP-facing initiatives.
Approved Capital Strategy Mentors may be engaged to:
Advise fund managers on capital strategy, fund design, and LP engagement
Guide sponsors on fundraising readiness, materials positioning, and investor targeting
Support transaction teams on capital stack structuring and financing strategy
Review fundraising decks, investment narratives, and LP communications
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on capital markets context, diligence framing, and investor expectations
Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors, family offices, or co-investors
Capital Strategy Mentors focus on strategic judgment, positioning, and mentorship, not execution-heavy modeling or day-to-day fundraising logistics unless explicitly approved.
Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated capital-strategy expertise in one or more of the following:
Fund formation and capital raising strategy
LP communications, positioning, and investor segmentation
Capital stack design and financing strategy
Investment committee and fundraising readiness support
Analyst and Deal Scout mentorship (capital markets perspective)
Investor relations and long-term capital strategy
Capital Strategy Mentors operate as independent contractors
Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope
Transaction-based incentives may be earned for capital strategy advisory tied to closed deals
Payments issued upon completion of advisory milestones or successful transaction close
No cap on earning potential for sustained, high-value capital strategy contributions
Submit a Capital Strategy Mentor application detailing background, fundraising experience, and deal history
Complete verification and advisory category approval
Receive elevated visibility and promotion within the Initio Sphere platform
Begin advising funds, sponsors, analysts, and deal scouts on approved engagements
This process ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real capital-market opportunities.
Capital Strategy Mentors do not:
Provide investment advice to the general public
Solicit securities
Market investments outside approved channels
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All mentorship and advisory activity must comply with applicable securities laws and remain focused on strategic guidance, positioning, and capital-related mentorship.
Former investment bankers, private equity or venture capital professionals, and senior fund executives
Capital-raising specialists, placement advisors, or operators with LP-facing experience
Senior advisors who can mentor analysts and scouts on capital strategy and investor readiness
Professionals seeking high-impact advisory roles without full-time fund commitments
