Capital Structuring Associates support fund managers, finance teams, and legal counsel by assisting with the structuring, organization, and capital deployment of investment funds and vehicles. The role blends financial analysis, operational coordination, and regulatory knowledge in a fast-paced private capital environment.
This position involves close collaboration with investment, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure that capital structures are efficient, compliant, and aligned with investment strategies.
Assist in structuring and modeling investment vehicles and fund capital stacks, including equity, debt, and hybrid instruments
Support the preparation and review of fund documentation, partnership agreements, and subscription materials
Coordinate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and investor requirements
Monitor capital commitments, fund closings, and capital call processes
Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and operational tracking tools for capital structuring insights
Identify opportunities to optimize fund structures, investment workflows, and reporting processes
Prepare analyses, summaries, and reports for senior management and investment committees
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Understanding of fund structures, investment vehicles, and capital deployment strategies
Familiarity with private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or alternative investments is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial modeling, SQL, or operational tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interest in private capital, fund structuring, and investment operations
