Initio Sphere is seeking finance professionals to join as Capital Transaction Review Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Capital Transaction Review Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Conduct independent review and analysis of private capital transactions
Support investors, fund managers, and operators with transaction diligence and reporting
Assess deal quality, financial structure, and risk factors
Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of experience reviewing complex transactions, conducting diligence, or evaluating private market investments.
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in transaction review, private capital analysis, or operational/financial diligence.
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical performance and exposure to transaction review or private capital diligence.
Depending on certification approvals, Capital Transaction Review Analysts may be engaged for:
Evaluate private capital deals, including fund structures, underlying assets, and transaction terms
Assess deal quality, validate assumptions, and flag risk factors
Summarize findings in structured transaction memos for investors or sponsors
Provide independent verification of financial and operational data
Review and validate 3-statement financial models, DCFs, or LBOs
Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to test deal assumptions
Benchmark deal metrics against comparable transactions
Conduct operational, commercial, and financial diligence
Identify and quantify risks associated with transactions
Support investor or sponsor decision-making with actionable insights
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Transaction Review, Financial Modeling, Due Diligence)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility on the platform
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for higher-complexity transactions
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, rigor, or compliance issues
Capital Transaction Review Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is strictly limited to analytical, diligence, and review functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
