IDR is seeking a CAPPS Financials Purchasing Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role offers the chance to work within a large-scale government enterprise, supporting critical financial and procurement systems. The position involves providing senior-level functional consulting, system configuration, and support for the CAPPS Financials module, ensuring compliance and operational excellence across statewide agencies.

Position Overview for the CAPPS Financials Purchasing Analyst:

  • Perform highly advanced (senior-level) consulting services and functional assistance related to supporting the CAPPS Program.
  • Responsible for functional CAPPS Purchasing (PO) and Contracts modules, including configuration, production support, and issue resolution.
  • Lead business process improvements, change management, testing, and user support activities.
  • Support integrations with other modules, reporting, analytics, and release management.
  • Provide expertise in functional configuration skills such as requisition setup, vendor maintenance, procurement options, approval workflows, and contract management.

Requirements for the CAPPS Financials Purchasing Analyst:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies.
  • Extensive technical skillsets including App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects.
  • Experience with system configuration changes in PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2.
  • Supporting and providing oversight for batch jobs, security standards, and statewide ERP systems.
  • Experience supporting the Purchasing (PO) core module of PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2.
