Job Summary:
The Rollins College Wellness Center is seeking part-time temporary counselors to join our dynamic and student-centered Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) team for the 2026-2027 academic year. CAPS is part of an integrated Wellness Center that includes Counseling and Psychological Services, Student Health Services, and Health Promotions, all working collaboratively to support student well-being. Reporting to the Director of CAPS, these counselors will provide culturally competent clinical services, consultation, and outreach consistent with the mission of the Wellness Center.

Anticipated Employment Dates: August 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027
Schedule: CAPS Counselors will work approximately 20-25 hours per week, for a total of less than 1,000 hours per year. Scheduled hours per week will depend on operational needs. Availability and readiness to work during non-office hours (including nights, early mornings, and weekends) may be required as needed.
Compensation: The hourly rate is $25.00 and there are no benefits associated with this appointment.

Employment Eligibility:
All new employees must be eligible and show employment eligibility verification by the first date of employment at Rollins College, as legally required (e.g., Form I-9). Rollins College will require proof of authorization to work in the United States. Further, based on the September 19, 2025, Presidential Proclamation and accompanying guidance from the USCIS and Department of State, the College may not be able to offer H-1B sponsorship. Particularly the College is not able to pay the required fee accompanying new H-1B visa petitions.
