    Capture Manager – Landscaping Industry Job DescriptionPosition Title: Capture ManagerPosition Summary:The Capture Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value commercial landscaping opportunities directly or via lead generation software. This role leads the strategy, planning, and execution of competitive pursuits including RFPs, renewals, and multi-site service contracts. The Capture Manager partners with proposal writing team, business development, estimating, operations, and executive leadership to win profitable business and expand market share.Key ResponsibilitiesOpportunity IdentificationIdentify and qualify new business opportunities in target commercial markets.Monitor upcoming bids, RFPs, renewals, and contract transitions.Target opportunities in corporate campuses, HOAs, municipalities, healthcare, retail, industrial, and education sectors.Capture StrategyDevelop win strategies for strategic and high-value contracts.Research customer needs, competitors, and market conditions.Build pricing approaches, service differentiators, and pursuit plans.Coordinate and attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and relationship-building efforts.Proposal & Bid ManagementLead proposal development for landscape maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, and installation opportunities.Coordinate estimating, scheduling, staffing plans, and operational readiness.Ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and profitable.Manage proposal submissions, presentations, negotiations, and award process.Manage Post Award integration with operation, site set-up and handoffsManage Non Award processes to secure bid results, award scale and copies of winning proposalsClient Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with property managers, developers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.Maintain communication throughout pursuit and transition process.Support long-term account growth after contract award.Internal CollaborationWork closely with division managers and operations teams for successful onboarding.Coordinate with finance and leadership on pricing, margins, and growth targets.Develop a full understanding of the bidding system and strategies used to win.Maintain CRM pipeline reports and opportunity tracking.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.Experience managing proposals valued at $250K+ preferred.5+ years of commercial landscaping, construction sales, facilities services, or business development experience.Proven success securing large commercial contracts preferred.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Knowledge of landscaping operations, maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, or installation services preferred.Key SkillsCapture strategyProposal managementStrategic sellingRelationship managementCompetitive analysisRevenue growthPerformance MetricsProposal win rateGross margin on secured workNew account revenueCompensationBase Starting at $77,000 + Commission / Bonus Program.Monthly Vehicle and Mobile Phone AllowancesMedical, Dental, Vision, Liability, and other supplemental insurance options401K plan with partial matchPaid Vacation, Sick Leave, and HolidaysOvernight Travel 33%Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.#J-18808-Ljbffr
