Job Title
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload used cars and auto parts onto and off trucks and 40HC containers.
- Tie the vehicle in the container safely using chains and straps.
- Operate loading equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect vehicles and cargo for any damages before and after loading.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in loading areas.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of shipped vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role at least 2 years.
- Ability to operate loading equipment and tools.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Aligning the vehicle chassis with the container chassis in the yard.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
