Automotive Photographer (Part-Time)
Location: Santa Barbara, Ventura & surrounding areas
(Goleta, Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Ojai, Carpinteria, Santa Paula)
Schedule: Part-Time | 2–3 days per week, 6–8 hours per day (or until assignments are complete)
Pay: $24.00++ per hour
*Hourly pay is a combination of base pay plus per-vehicle photo payouts
About the Role
Pro-MotionPix is seeking a Part-Time Automotive Photographer to support dealership inventory photography using a
company-issued iPhone and mobile app. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, and producing clean, professional visual content.
No prior automotive photography experience is required —
paid training is provided to ensure you’re confident and successful in the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Travel to assigned dealership locations using your own reliable vehicle
- Capture high-quality vehicle photos, 360° spins, and walk-around videos
- Locate keys and move vehicles to designated staging areas
- Communicate with dealership staff regarding vehicles that are unavailable or not ready
- Ensure all vehicles are photographed accurately, efficiently, and according to company standards
Mileage is reimbursed between dealership locations.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform light physical activity throughout the shift
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Customer-service oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Comfortable using smartphones and learning new apps
- Manual transmission driving experience is a plus, but not required
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to manage time effectively while working independently
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen
