We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Car Porter to join our growing team at Pohanka Toyota of Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping a dealership running smoothly and professionally.
As a Car Porter, you will be responsible for moving, parking, organizing, and maintaining vehicles throughout the dealership while ensuring the lot remains clean, safe, and customer-ready at all times.
PAY:$16.50 per hour
Full-time opportunity
Advancement opportunities available within the dealership
Move vehicles between the showroom, service department, storage areas, and customer pick-up locations
Park and organize vehicles on the dealership lot safely and efficiently
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles on the lot
Assist with keeping the dealership grounds neat, organized, and professional
Run dealership errands and off-site driving assignments when needed
Perform basic maintenance tasks including fueling vehicles, checking fluids, jump-starting batteries, and tire pressure checks
Track vehicle locations and document vehicle conditions accurately
Handle dealership and customer vehicles responsibly at all times
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous dealership porter or automotive lot experience preferred but not required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Basic automotive maintenance knowledge is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Must be dependable, professional, and willing to learn
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
