Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the car rental department, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage rental fleet availability, maintenance, and scheduling to maximize utilization.
- Lead and train rental staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet company standards.
- Develop and implement rental policies, procedures, and promotional initiatives to increase revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive rental experience.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and manage budgeting for the rental department.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle rentals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in car rental management or a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet management, and rental software systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the entire operation and direct the workforce as needed to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to quickly make decisions while under pressure.
- Supervise and direct team of 100 employees
- Set example to employees in respect to how job should be performed and all safety rules are observed.
- Provide training as necessary to establish acceptable practices and correct deficiencies.
- Counsel, train and/or discipline employees as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Dealership management experience
- Excellent Communicator with the Customer, Site Operators, and employees. Is aware of each Operator's site status with an excellent awareness of potential problems.
- Excellent Organizational skills and leadership ability to develop safe, efficient and autonomous employees.
- Competent in basic Microsoft office, database entry and generating reports for the customer.
- Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Clean driving record
