Position Summary:
The Vehicle Salesperson is responsible for building lasting customer relationships and guiding clients through the vehicle purchase process. This role requires expert knowledge of vehicles, features, and technology to provide professional demonstrations and answer customer questions. The salesperson actively follows up with buyers, overcomes objections, and works to generate referral business. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the position requires a positive, energetic attitude and a commitment to achieving sales goals, including availability to work Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences
Provide detailed information about the latest car models, features, and options
Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle to match their requirements
Conduct test drives and explain vehicle functionality
Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets
Follow up with prospective customers via phone, email, and in-person visits
Negotiate pricing and financing options to close sales deals
Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the automotive industry
Participate in sales training programs and workshops to enhance selling skills
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience in the automotive industry preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a genuine desire to assist and serve others
Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Available to work up to 42 hours per week, must work Mondays and Saturday
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
