Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Required Credentials: Driver’s License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Unit Details: Peripherals, DVT, LHC, RHC, biopsy, structural heart. Performs diagnostic, specialized radiographic and cardiovascular invasive procedures using ionizing radiation; prepares and positions patients; administers contrast media and/or medications within scope; observes patients during procedures; performs complex image manipulation, data interpretation, and analysis; produces radiographic images for physician interpretation; and provides imaging training and mentoring for medical imaging staff. Performs patient assessment, monitoring, and care including patient preparation, vital signs, pulse oximetry, blood pressure and heart rhythm monitoring, venous access, arterial access in the presence of a physician, urinary catheterization, suturing, compression, bandaging, distal pulses, non-narcotic and pressurized injections, wire and catheter manipulation and placement as permitted by license, sterile field maintenance, infection control mentoring, and patient chart documentation. Manages inventory and case-specific charging and documentation; orders and distributes supplies; communicates with vendors for specialty stock items; performs procedure scheduling, obtains authorizations, confirms physician privileges as needed, arranges patient reservations and referrals, obtains H&Ps, pertinent lab results, and prior films for physician review; and provides pre- and post-procedure patient and family education. Documents patient radiation exposure and assists the medical radiation physicist.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call may be required. Responds to emergency situations and call-back within departmental specified timeframes and rotates room, case, and call-back assignments with other qualified staff.
