Shift: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Hackensack Meridian Health.

Additional Details:
Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify the clinician from proceeding.
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year required in Cardiac Cath. Six (6)-12 months during a CVT accredited program or two (2) years in another cardiac vascular laboratory. Usage of Impella and balloon pump required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Permanent pacemaker placement experience is preferred. Mac Lab experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program or graduate of an applied science program.
Preferred Credentials: Associates or Bachelors Degree in health science field. Licensed special procedures Radiologic Technologist. ARRT is a plus.
Unit Details: Assists with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. Assists with circulatory support devices including IABP and Impella. Uses hemodynamic monitoring equipment, power injectors, digital cine technology, and Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS). Assists with vascular access, sheath removal, hemostatic closure devices, and radial access banding.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. Weekend required as needed. Holiday required, 1 summer and 1 winter. On-call is required, 7 shifts minimum, 10 max.

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
