The Cardiac Cath Lab RN assists physicians with Cardiac Cath lab, Electrophysiology, implant and peripheral procedures. Confirms patient identification by 2 patient identifiers. Ensures required documentation of ordered procedure. Ensures and documents medication administration and medication reconciliation as ordered. Performs patient assessment prior, during and post procedure with documentation. Ensures continual hemodynamic status evaluation on all patients. Communicates patient status and procedural outcome with provider and/or receiving nurse. Performs all other assigned duties according to established policy and procedure as assigned by Director of Cardiovascular Services or Cardiovascular Manager.

Special Qualifications

Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the state of SC. ACLS within 6 months of hire.  BLS certified. Minimum of 6 months experience in emergency care, critical care, telemetry, cardiology procedures
