Position Summary:
Prepping and monitoring patients during cardiovascular imaging and invasive heart procedures. Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury by creating images using imaging equipment. Operating diagnostic imaging equipment. Administering contrast. Assisting physicians and coworkers with procedures. Monitoring patient vital signs during procedures. Maintaining supplies and radiation safety.
Experience: Preferred: 1 to 3 years Cath Lab/Special Procedures/Radiology experience, EKG interpretation preferred
Education: Required: Diploma/Associates Degree/bachelor's degree from accredited radiology or cardiovascular program
License and Credentials: Required: ARRT and NJ Radiology license required for Radiology Technologist. Preferred: Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), CV certification, CI certification, RCVT/RCIS/RCES. ACLS preferred, must obtain within one year of hire
Skills: Required: Understand radiation safety or experience with patient care and patient interaction Preferred: Ability to assist in cardiac procedures
Work Schedule: Bi-Weekly Hours: 80 Work Schedule: 7:30am to 6:00pm plus on call
Compensation: The minimum starting rate for this position is $40.88 When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity)
