CARDIAC CATH LAB TECHNOLOGIST JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and procedural support in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment. This role supports cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, structural heart, and vascular procedures while collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, anesthesia teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and procedural outcomes.

Variable 3x12 Schedule Rotating Shifts Weekend and Holiday Coverage Required Participation in On-Call Rotation Required Flexible Scheduling Based on Departmental Needs REQUIREMENTS
Minimum two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience in one or more of the following: Cardiac Catheterization Labs Electrophysiology Labs Interventional Radiology Labs Hybrid Operating Rooms Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification State Fluoroscopy Permit (as required) American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification RCIS Certification preferred Experience in an acute care hospital environment preferred Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile procedural techniques KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging equipment during cardiovascular procedures Provide procedural support for cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, structural heart, and vascular interventions Produce and submit high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures Function in both scrub and circulating technologist roles Document procedures accurately in designated cardiovascular documentation systems Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients within scope of practice regarding procedures and care processes Troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate technical support as needed Assist with inventory management and equipment readiness Adhere to infection prevention, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives Maintain compliance with all organizational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements IDEAL CANDIDATE
