Location: Bethesda North Hospital at 10500 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242

Work Hours:

  • PRN
  • On-call commitment: Assigned in alignment with the department's schedule and needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate''s Degree Associate''s Degree in Allied Health (Required)
  • 1+ year of Cath Lab experience is required
  • ARRT - Radiographer ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required
  • Unrestricted license from ODH Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) BLS Certification Required
  • On-Call requirements with 30 minute response time per department needs and schedule.
  • Successful completion of basic EKG Arrhythmia course Upon Hire Preferred
  • Radiation Safety Knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and professionalism
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, radiologic imaging and equipment

Job Overview:

Under the direction of a Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, this role is responsible for operating state-of-the-art radiographic equipment and ensuring high-quality imaging for patient care. The Special Procedures Technologist plays a key role in patient outcomes within the Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures department and is accountable for maintaining radiation safety practices within procedure rooms.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced imaging equipment
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care for patients and their families
  • Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities within the unit
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
  • Uphold organizational responsibility, adhering to protocols and best practices to support patient safety and care
