Registered Nurse


The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care for individuals on the orthopedic unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, interpreting clinical data, and providing age-specific care according to established policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


+ Coordinate total patient care for assigned individuals, ensuring a tailored and compassionate approach.

+ Assess patient data, interpret clinical information, and deliver care specific to each patient's age and needs.

+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan.

+ Support the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.

+ Contribute to the hospital’s strategic plan by participating in quality improvement and process enhancement activities.

Qualifications


+ 12 months consecutive experience within ICU and/or ER or CCL and/or Surgical Services is required.

+ 24 months consecutive experience within ICU and/or ER or CCL and/or Surgical Services is preferred.

+ Current California RN License

+ AHA-BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ AHA-ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

+ Critical Care Course Completion within one-year

+ Basic EKG within 90-days of employment

+ HBOC computer training within 6 months of employment in the position
