Job Summary

Join our team in Johnson City, NY, where you will perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under the direction of a physician in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will serve UHSH employees, Medical Staff, patients, and regulatory agencies, with a focus on activities that directly affect customer service. Compliance with the Interventional Cardiology departmental on-call policy is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for all Cath Lab procedures, including catheterizations, angioplasty, structural heart procedures, peripheral angiography and angioplasty, temporary pacemaker insertion, and LV assist device insertions.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment using established guidelines and imaging protocols.
• Ensure safety standards and radiation safety practices are met.
• Instruct students and residents and perform preceptor duties when necessary.
• Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and assist in maintaining supply inventory.
• Demonstrate knowledge of UHS information systems and coding procedures for accurate billing.
• Engage in continuous learning by attending lectures, seminars, and educational readings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule Notes

Day shift - 40 hrs per week. 1 night per week call and 1 weekend per month call. Significant cath experience required as you will take STEMI call independently.
