Job Summary:
Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures to include, but not limited to: Vascular and Interventional Radiology studies, Coronary stenting, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, atherectomies, peripheral angioplasty, carotid angiogram, iliac angiogram, renal angiogram, triple lumen catheter placement.
Perform lab administrative duties and supply inventory.

Required Skills & Experience:
Must have at least 12 years of recent cath lab experience.
Two (2) years fulltime Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience
Education:
Required Education:
High School Graduate or G.E.D.
Preferred Education:
An Associate's Degree or equivalent college hours (62 semester hours) in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science or higher AND one (1) year (fulltime or fulltime equivalent) in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR Baccalaureate degree in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science AND six (6) months (fulltime or fulltime equivalent) in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR Graduate of an accredited (by CHEA, USDOE, or CMA) program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR Graduate of a NO Nprogrammatically accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology which has a minimum of one (1) year of specialty training and includes a minimum of 800 clinical hours.

Schedule Notes:
Candidate must have BLS & ACLS Electric Physiology
Preferred Schedule: 10- hour shift, 4- days a week 7am-530pm On-Call Required No Weekends There are "late days" where candidate may be required to stay late to finish a case if the lab is still running.
