Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Float Pool at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville! This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity. This position will be based at various Baptist Health locations.

This Cardiac Echo Sonographer must be comfortable working at up to 3 campuses. The Float team at Baptist Health is a dynamic team of professionals making an impact in the world of imaging. Cardiac Echo Sonographer Responsibilities:

• Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.

• Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions

• Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations

• Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process

• Maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and adhering to department protocols and quality standards

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Cardiac Echo Sonography Experience Required

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• If hired, must obtain Adult Echo Credentials through either ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire.
