Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Echocardiographer (Echo Tech) to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies within a hospital cardiology department. The ideal candidate will support physicians by producing high-quality imaging used to assess cardiac structure and function.
This role requires strong technical skill in echocardiography, attention to detail, and the ability to perform both routine and advanced cardiac imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic cardiac echocardiography procedures (routine, urgent, and STAT)
Assist physicians in evaluating cardiac function and pathology
Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) in coordination with cath lab
Acquire, analyze, and document high-quality sonographic images
Adapt imaging techniques based on patient condition and diagnostic needs
Ensure compliance with imaging protocols and safety standards
Collaborate with cardiology and clinical care teams
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

Requirements
RCS, RDCS, RCIS, or RCES certification required
BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required
Minimum 1 2 years echocardiography experience preferred
Experience in hospital cardiac imaging preferred
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols
