We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cardiac EP Technician to join our advanced cardiovascular team. In this role, you will play a critical part in assisting physicians with complex, invasive electrophysiology procedures. You will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting state-of-the-art EP monitoring, stimulation, 3D mapping, and X-ray systems, while maintaining a strict sterile field for device implantations.

Procedural Support: Assist physicians using strict sterile techniques during all EP and Cath Lab procedures, including the implantation of Permanent Pacemakers, ICDs, and Bi-V-ICDs.
Data Integration: Enter patient demographics accurately into monitoring and X-ray equipment; collect, record, and relay procedural data to receiving units.
Radiation Safety: Monitor radiation exposure for patients, staff, and physicians, ensuring levels remain As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA).
Administrative Flow: Accurately record patient billing information and balance workflow needs to maximize patient care quality and satisfaction.
Equipment Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all EP Lab procedures, necessary clinical supplies, and system indications.
Credentials: Keep registry and certifications active by completing all mandatory CEUs required by the hospital and governing agencies.
Supply Chain Support: Assist with materials management, including the tracking and ordering of critical supplies for the EP lab.
Assist with the cleaning, restocking, and overall maintenance of the lab environment. Perform other operational duties as assigned.
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with 1 year of EP experience + ARRT Certification. OR
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (BSN preferred) with 1 year of EP experience + active nursing licensure. OR
High School Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of direct EP lab experience. OR
Active RCIS or RCES status (or equivalent in a health-related field).
If Radiology Tech: Current ARRT certification is required.
If Registered Nurse: Active RN license in South Carolina OR a valid multi-state/compact license.
Life Support: Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
Preferred: RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credentials.
Advanced understanding of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation, patient parameters, and cardiac complication management.
Competency in operating and troubleshooting X-ray systems, Intra-cardiac Echo (ICE), and 3D mapping systems.
Physical Demands: Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and hand dexterity. Must be able to frequently lift, move, push, or pull patients/equipment exceeding 50 lbs.
Environment: Exposure to radiation, blood, body fluids, and infectious materials common to a healthcare environment.
Schedule: Operates under stressful conditions/deadlines. May require irregular hours, weekend/holiday shifts, and on-call rotation based on departmental needs
