Cardiac Sonographer - Radiology / Cardiology/Echo Tech

Location: Marlborough, MA

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $75.00 $80.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 3x8 Hours, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Travel Requirements: Must have completed at least 2 successful travel contracts to be considered
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a 24-hour-a-week position structured as 3x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM 4:30 PM). The role is an Allied Travel/Contract position in the Radiology / Cardiology specialty, focused on Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TTE (Transthoracic Echocardiography)
  • Perform TSE studies
  • Perform TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
  • Perform TEE/CV procedures
  • Conduct Bubble Studies
  • Administer and conduct Definity Contrast studies
  • Chart using Epic and PACS systems

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with Epic charting system
  • Proficiency with PACS
  • Willingness to work some weekends and holidays if needed (no set schedule)

Education Requirements

  • ARDMS or CCI certification required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Minimum 2 successful travel contracts required to be considered

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • No set weekend schedule, but must be willing to work some weekends and holidays if needed
  • Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination not required
