Title: Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist – Contract
Location: Burbank, CA

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The role focuses on producing high-quality echocardiographic images and supporting cardiology teams in patient diagnosis and care.
Perform adult echocardiography procedures (2D, Doppler, and related imaging)
Obtain accurate and high-quality cardiac images for interpretation
Prepare and position patients for procedures
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
Assist physicians during cardiac diagnostic evaluations
Ensure proper documentation in EMR systems (Meditech)
Maintain equipment and report technical issues
Follow infection control and hospital safety standards
Ensure proper image labeling and timely submission
Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care
Experience in Cardiac Sonography / Echo Technology required
Certification preferred (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
Strong communication and patient care skills
BLS Certification preferred/required
