Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 48 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Local & travel allowed.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Favorite Healthcare Program - University of Kansas.

Additional Details:
Required skills/experience: 4 years of cardiac ultrasound clinical experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer. Performed a minimum of 4000 echocardiograms
Preferred skills/experience: Neonatal echo experience is not required but would be a plus.
Preferred credentials: Graduate of programmatically accredited program in cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography. Or graduate of a Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate academic program in Health Science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing). Training or certification in IV and UEA contrast administration
Shift & schedule requirements: M-F.
On-Call Requirements: One night per week Holiday Requirements: Holidays not required. In the event of a holiday falls on scheduled workday, subsequent pay period will be reduced by holiday pay hours.
Special request requirements: We are asking all clinicians not to request time off during the World Cup (June 11 – July 19).
Unit and facility details: KU is a nicotine free facility
7 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or the alternative certification RCS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI))
