Description
Southern California Heart Centers is seeking a General Cardiologist to provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular care across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings. The General Cardiologist will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions while collaborating closely with other teams to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care including preventive cardiology, risk-factor management, and chronic disease management.
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic studies including:
- Echocardiography (TTE and TEE, if credentialed)
- Cardiac stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic)
- Holter monitors and ambulatory cardiac monitoring
- Nuclear imaging, if certified
- EKG interpretation
- Provide inpatient cardiology consultations for hospitalized patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and hypertension.
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, as well as vascular and cardiac surgery teams, and other providers on patient care planning and treatment.
- Work closely with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, care coordinators and other clinical support staff to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care delivery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning to support quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Comply with clinical quality measures, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Unrestricted and active California Physician License
- Current BLS, ACLS, CA DEA certification prior to start date

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position is in office. The office is located at 506 Valley Blvd., Ste 100, San Gabriel, CA 91776. Position also requires working out of affiliated hospitals.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $418,000 - $500,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
