This hospital-based facility maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support cardiovascular disease management on an on-site, inpatient basis. The institution is structured to accommodate 24-hour weekend call coverage with NP support available during rounds. Clinical infrastructure is in place to facilitate continuity of cardiovascular care delivery across assigned weekend coverage periods.

Tennessee offers clinicians on assignment a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to varied interests. The state provides access to scenic natural landscapes, outdoor recreation opportunities, and year-round regional attractions. Clinicians may also explore historic areas, live music venues, and cultural destinations among the many activities available throughout the state.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management on a 24-hour weekend call basis, with coverage beginning Friday at 5:00 PM or Saturday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM. On-site rounding responsibilities include management of approximately 20 patients per day, with a nurse practitioner available to support clinical operations throughout the coverage period. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is negotiable for consideration. This assignment requires 1 to 2 weekends per month on an ongoing basis.
