Valley Baptist Physician Network is looking for an Interventional Cardiologist to join a thriving, well-established cardiovascular group at one of South Texas's premier health systems. You'll step into a fully built-out practice with a collegial team, strong mentorship, and a light call burden - so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care from day one. Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen is a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center and the region's recognized leader in cardiovascular services, offering four Cath Lab suites with Cardiac, EP, and Neuro capabilities. Research, teaching, and professional growth are all within reach through the hospital's clinical research department and a partnership with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, employed position based at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX
- Clinic located in the Medical Arts Pavilion - directly connected to the hospital and Cath Lab
- Monday-Friday clinic schedule; approximately 25 patients per day
- 10-15 procedures per week initially
- Low call burden: approximately 3 days/month, shared across a 10-provider cardiology panel
- Full spectrum of IC scope: diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, device implantation and management, structural heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and peripheral vascular disease
- 4 Cath Lab suites with Cardiac, EP, and Neuro capabilities
- Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system and Cerner EMR on-site
- Access to an active clinical research department
- Optional teaching opportunities through UT Rio Grande Valley

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Licensed in Texas or eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
