VA Northern California Health Care System is seeking a Board?Certified/Board?Eligible Cardiologist to join our growing Cardiology Service at the Sacramento VA Medical Center in Mather, CA. Your Role
As a Cardiologist at VANCHCS, you will:
- Provide outpatient cardiovascular care at the Sacramento VA Medical Center
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiology diagnostics (as credentialed)
- Participate in inpatient consults and shared coverage across VANCHCS (as applicable)
- Work closely with nursing, pharmacy, and specialty care colleagues in a team-based model
- Support quality initiatives, program development, and process improvement
Ideal Candidate
- MD or DO with Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
- Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory
- Strong commitment to Veteran-centered, collaborative care
