Job Summary:

Austin Heart would like to recruit an advanced practice provider to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas, in Harker Heights, TX.

 

Qualified Candidates:

  • Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA
  • Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
  • Practicing at the Harker Heights office with two interventional cardiologists and one non-invasive cardiologist; may include outreach locations such as Lampasas, TX
  • Call requirements: 12 weekends per year
  • Office hours: Mon-Thurs 8-5, Friday 8-4:30
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Licensed in the state of Texas
  • The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist
  • The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills
