Opportunity Overview

Non-Invasive Cardiologist Position in Santa Rosa

Our organization is currently seeking a full-time general non-invasive Cardiologist to join an established practice of eight providers, which includes four non-invasive cardiologists, two interventional cardiologists, and two advanced practitioners. This role offers significant potential for professional growth.

Location: Santa Rosa, California - Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital

Position Highlights:

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • On-call duties: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks
  • Newly designed spacious offices located next to the hospital, with an outreach clinic in Petaluma
  • Established referral network supported by strong primary care physicians within the group and patients enrolled in Sutter insurance plans
  • Involvement in inpatient consultative services for one week every six weeks, collaborating with hospital nurse practitioners
  • Office facilities include three echocardiogram machines, with two full-time technicians and plans to hire a third, nuclear stress testing overseen by an exercise physiologist, a device clinic, and a centralized Coumadin clinic managed by nurse practitioners
  • Utilization of an integrated electronic medical record system (EPIC) in both office and hospital settings
  • Robust support staff in the office

Hospital Features:

  • Regional STEMI program, coronary interventions, pacemaker and ICD implants, cardiac CTA with CT-FFR, cardiac MRI, and ECMO capabilities
  • Strong support from hospitalists and intensivists
  • 124-bed capacity hospital

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Cardiology is required
  • Experience with TEE and nuclear interpretation is necessary
  • Interest in CT and pacemaker implantation is advantageous but not mandatory
