Cardiology Nurse (In-house screening team)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse to join our in-house TAVR pivotal trial screening team. The nurse will play a critical role in patient case planning and eligibility screening, collaborating closely with the clinical team to identify and prepare potential trial participants. This position is onsite only, focusing on chart review, screening processes, and documentation-no travel or site visits required.
Responsibilities
Review patient charts and medical records to identify eligibility for the TAVR pivotal trial.
Apply trial inclusion and exclusion criteria to assess patient suitability.
Collaborate with cardiologists, study coordinators, and clinical teams to prioritize potential participants.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date screening logs and trial documentation.
Provide clinical insights to support case planning and feasibility discussions.
Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA, and trial protocols during all screening activities.
Participate in team meetings to review cases and discuss patient eligibility trends.
Support data verification and assist in resolving discrepancies related to patient eligibility.
Key Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN/BSN) with current licensure.
Minimum 10 years of direct cardiovascular nursing experience, preferably in CCU, CICU, or structural heart programs.
Proven experience in patient assessment, heart failure management, and critical care.
Prior involvement in clinical trials or research-focused nursing preferred.
Strong understanding of cardiology terminology and trial endpoints (e.g., EF, NYHA class, paravalvular leak).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional teamwork.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.
Requirements
Ability to work onsite full-time.
Comfortable managing high volumes of chart reviews and case planning.
Strong commitment to regulatory compliance and patient privacy (HIPAA/GCP).
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight timelines.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff.

Work Location:

Position may require domestic travel up to 10%, however this is an in-house position.
