Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (APRN)

We are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (APRN) for a full-time opportunity with an independent cardiology practice serving the New Haven area.

• Manage an independent patient panel under Connecticut's collaborative-practice model.

• Conduct new cardiology consultations and follow-up visits.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and valvular disease.

• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing.

• Coordinate specialist referrals and collaborate with physicians and diagnostic staff.

• Manage chronic cardiac conditions and provide ongoing patient care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable clinical and regulatory standards.

• Provide patient education regarding cardiovascular conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.

• Board-certified APRN.

• AGPCNP, FNP, or ACNP background considered.

• Active Connecticut APRN license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Prior cardiology experience preferred but not required.

• Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine.

• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
