Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The physician plays a vital role within the healthcare team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver comprehensive medical services to patients. Each physician's practice scope is established by the credentialing and privileging committee of the health system.
The Physician is responsible for supporting individual objectives, budgetary goals, and performance metrics.
This role encompasses all medical activities at the individual level, including the execution of quality control standards, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
The primary duty of a physician is to deliver high-quality clinical care to patients who have selected our organization, ensuring timely responses to their healthcare needs.
Education:
A Doctorate from an accredited medical institution is mandatory.
Experience:
A minimum of one year of experience in medical or surgical settings is required.
Certifications/Licensure:
Must hold a valid medical license issued by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
