What You'll Need:
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- Active PA license or IMLC Limited Ontario Qualification (LOQ)
- DEA certification
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Echos, Holters, stress tests (including Nucs), EKGs, and consults
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong organizational skills and excellent clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CTA reading
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR system
- Experience in Interventional and Electrophysiology (EP) services
Preferred Education & Experience:
- MD or DO with board certification in Cardiology
- Prior hospital-based cardiology experience, preferred
- Proven ability to manage a patient census of 25-35 patients daily
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to support 1-2 weeks per month, including weekends and nights as needed
- Credentialing within 90 days with a clean file (temporary credentials acceptable)
- Willingness to support stress testing, TEEs, cardioversions, and other special procedures
- Travel and reimbursement coverage available where applicable
Compensation & Benefits:
