An ambitious and dedicated Exercise Physiologist is sought after to join our team at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego in the role of Cadiopulmonary Exercise Program Manager. This is an amazing opportunity to advance our Cardiopulmonary Exercise Lab and Cardiac Rehabilitation programs, where your skills and expertise will contribute to outstanding outcomes for our pediatric patients.
Job Responsibilities
As a Cardiopulmonary Program Manager, you will have a key role in our Exercise Lab program. Under direction of the Clinical Director and the Service Line Admininstrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Exercise Laboratory.
- Facilitates the safe and effective conduct of cardiopulmonary testing, analyzes cardiopulmonary data, provides patient and family education.
- Performs patient assessments, develops exercise plans, monitors patient progress.
- Oversees any needed staff training, maintains equipment, ensures high quality patient care.
- Supports academic partnerships, contributes to research initiatives.
- Maintains departmental standards, safety, and operational readiness.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Education
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field (Minimum).
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience as an Exercise Physiologist
- Advanced experience working in clinical exercise testing or cardiopulmonary diagnostics (Preferred).
- Academic teaching and research participation experience (Preferred).
Licenses and Certifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (AHA)
- Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist (CEP) by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

The current salary range for this position is $45.75 to $62.90
