Cardiopulm Exercise Program Manager - Cardiac Exercise Lab

An ambitious and dedicated Exercise Physiologist is sought after to join our team at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego in the role of Cadiopulmonary Exercise Program Manager. Job Responsibilities

As a Cardiopulmonary Program Manager, you will have a key role in our Exercise Lab program. Under direction of the Clinical Director and the Service Line Admininstrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Exercise Laboratory.

• Facilitates the safe and effective conduct of cardiopulmonary testing, analyzes cardiopulmonary data, provides patient and family education.
• Performs patient assessments, develops exercise plans, monitors patient progress.
• Oversees any needed staff training, maintains equipment, ensures high quality patient care.
• Supports academic partnerships, contributes to research initiatives.
• Maintains departmental standards, safety, and operational readiness.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Education

• Master's Degree (Preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field (Minimum).

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience as an Exercise Physiologist
• Advanced experience working in clinical exercise testing or cardiopulmonary diagnostics (Preferred).
• Academic teaching and research participation experience (Preferred).

Licenses and Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (AHA)
• Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist (CEP) by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

The current salary range for this position is $45.75 to $62.90
