The Division of Congenital Heart Surgery at Texas Children''s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our growing and nationally recognized program in Houston, Texas.

Job Duties

The successful candidate will:

• Provide comprehensive surgical care for neonates, children, and adults with congenital heart disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in the Division''s congenital heart surgery call schedule, including transplant and mechanical circulatory support services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes across a broad range of congenital heart conditions.
• Contribute to the academic mission through clinical research, quality initiatives, scholarly activity, and publication.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support program growth through engagement with referring physicians, outreach efforts, and strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership while fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.
• Board certified or board eligible in Thoracic Surgery/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Texas medical license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and academic scholarship.
• Interest in clinical research, outcomes research, surgical innovation, and/or quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary congenital heart disease program.
