- Thoracotomy (Lung Biopsy, Lung Resection, Pneumonectomy)

JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Licenses: Active Michigan License
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Other Qualifications:
- Clean malpractice and license history;
- NPDB self-query required
- Must be able to work independently
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide cardiothoracic surgical coverage at Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital.
- Perform adult cardiac and thoracic surgeries including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, thoracotomy, and mediastinal procedures.
- Manage night call and round on patients as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in a Level I trauma center.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
