Description:
- Perform a broad range of cardiac surgical procedures, including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
- Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement (MVR)
- Ascending Aorta
- Our cardiothoracic surgeons actively support our interventional cardiologists performing structural heart procedures and highly complex minimally invasive procedures.
- Thoracic surgery interests are welcomed and encouraged but not required.
- Enjoy a highly favorable practice structure with one clinic day per week, allowing you to spend the majority of your time where you excel most: in the operating room.
- Join the OhioHealth Heart & Vascular Clinical Guidance Council, providing opportunities to influence clinical practice, drive quality initiatives, and participate in system-wide process improvement discussions.
- Collaborate across a robust, integrated Heart & Vascular service line, leveraging the expertise of multidisciplinary teams throughout the OhioHealth system.
- Practice within a physician-led environment that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence in patient outcomes.
- Pursue clinical, translational, or outcomes-based research through the OhioHealth Research & Innovation Institute (OHRI).
- Access resources and support to advance scholarly initiatives, participate in clinical studies, and contribute to the future of cardiovascular medicine.
