About the Clinician's WorkdayThe cardiothoracic surgeon will provide inpatient, on-site 24-hour call coverage averaging 10-14 days per month. Clinical responsibilities include CABG, arterial revascularization using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery, redo coronary revascularization with or without heart valve surgery, pericardial window procedures, and heart valve repair and replacement including mitral valve repair. The facility serves an exclusively adult patient population within a Level II Trauma-designated inpatient setting.
