Description Specialization: Cardiothoracic Surgery Job Summary: Medical City Denton is seeking an experienced Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to care for pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients. Qualified Candidates: Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Texas licensed or ability to obtain one Have experience in CVICU and knowledge of a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices (intraortic balloon pump, Impella, VV/VA ECMO) Can work a flexible full-time schedule Reponsibilities include managing patients in the CVICU recovering from CABG, valve replacement including TAVRs, complex aortic reconstruction, LVAD placement and heart transplantation in addition to our mechanical circulator support patients.
