Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C / NP)

Join a leading cardiovascular surgery program in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) with Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) experience to support a team of three employed cardiothoracic surgeons in a high-volume, growing practice.
Position Highlights

• Full-time opportunity
• Join an established team of 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons
• First assist in the operating room
• Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH)
• Daily inpatient rounding on pre- and post-operative patients
• Outpatient clinic follow-up and post-operative care
• Exposure to minimally invasive cardiothoracic procedures
• Shared call schedule of 1:3

Qualified Candidates

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Active South Carolina license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
• EVH and surgical first assist experience required
• Experience managing routine cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
• Strong understanding of post-operative care and outpatient follow-up
• Minimally invasive surgery experience preferred
