Position Highlights

• Join an established, hospital-employed Cardiothoracic Surgery program
• Full-time Advanced Practice Provider opportunity supporting a high-volume cardiac surgery team
• First assist in the operating room for adult cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Manage pre-operative, post-operative, inpatient rounding, ICU care, and outpatient follow-up
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, Intensivists, Anesthesiologists, and APPs
• Access to advanced hybrid ORs, CVICU, and state-of-the-art cardiovascular technology
• Dedicated surgical support staff and strong multidisciplinary team

Qualified Candidates

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
• Current or eligible Georgia licensure
• Cardiothoracic Surgery experience preferred
• First assist experience required; Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in perioperative and postoperative cardiac surgery management
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and patient-centered care
