About the Clinician's WorkdayThe physician associate will provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage with day shifts and 24-hour shift responsibilities including call coverage for both inpatient and OR settings. The clinician must be proficient with EVH procedures and provide first assisting capabilities in the operating room. Daily responsibilities include independently managing post-operative clinic patients and conducting patient rounds in the ICU to ensure continuity of care across the cardiothoracic surgery service line. Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
